Soybean Research Verification Program (SRVP)
Chad Norton
Soybean & Wheat Verification Coordinator (South AR)
The Soybean Research Verification Program started in 1983 and the Arkansas Soybean
Promotion Board helps fund the program through a soybean check-off program.
2018 was the 36th year for the program. Through that 36 years, 642 soybean fields
have been enrolled in the program. The five year (2014-2018) average yield for the
Soybean Research Verification Program fields is 60.8 bushels per acre. The state average
for that same 5 year period is 49.8 bushels per acre.
Anyone interested in enrolling in the program should contact their local County Extension
Agent. Click here for county offices information. Below is a map indicating the soybean verifcation program is active in Monroe, Prairie,
Lee, Lonoke, Jefferson, Lincoln, Drew, Ashley, Phillips, Arkansas, Desha, and Chicot
counties.
