Attention APAC Clients: New Consolidated Government Website Coming

by Debra Garcia - March 16, 2018

The General Service Administration (GSA) has revealed that they will be combining 10 websites into one.  The 10 websites are:

  1. Wage Determination On Line (WDOL)
  2. Systems for Award Management (SAM)
  3. Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS)
  4. Catalog for Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA)
  5. Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS)
  6. Federal Business Opportunities (FBO)
  7. Federal Awardee Performance and Integrity Information System (FAPIIS)
  8. Electronic Subcontractor Reporting System (eSRS)
  9. Federal Funding and Accountability Transparency Act (FFATA)
  10. Past Performance Information and Retrieval System (PPIRS)

The new website is https://beta.sam.gov.  It will be a central entry point for those who make, receive and manage federal awards.  Although, at this time, beta.sam.gov is not the authoritative site.  For now you will still use the original sites to search for information and run reports.  SAM.gov and beta.sam.gov will exist side by side until the merger of all ten sites are complete, which will take a few of years. After all the sites have been combined the “beta” site will then become SAM.gov once again.

Currently you can use beta.sam.gov to:

  • Search and view public data
  • Create a user account
  • Access the help center
  • Provide feedback on website features

The new site is a work in progress and GSA is asking for and welcoming feedback from the users.  Now would be a good time for you to start becoming familiar with the new site and as always, the Arkansas Procurement Assistance Center (APAC) will be here to assist you and help you navigate the new beta.sam.gov.
