The Arkansas PTAC is part of a nationwide network of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC) working to help small businesses compete successfully in the government marketplace.
The Arkansas Procurement Technical Assistance Center's mission is to assist Arkansas small businesses to succeed in obtaining government contracts. These contracts stimulate the growth of Arkansas' economy. For over 25 years Arkansas PTAC has assisted Arkansas businesses.
The COVID-19 virus is dominating the news and our personal and professional lives in a significant way. The Arkansas PTAC will continue to be open for business to support you during this time, but we are implementing some risk reduction procedures that may impact the way that we interact with our clients.
1. No in-person events will be held until the number of active cases in Arkansas significantly decreases. We are offering live virtual trainings on a regular basis on a variety of government contracting topics. You may find information on how to register for our trainings at https://www.uaex.edu/business-communities/arkansas-ptac/trainings.aspx as well as recordings of past virtual trainings we have hosted. As an active Arkansas PTAC client you will also find a link to our virtual on demand training platform, Govology.
2. Client counseling will remain active but will be limited to remote activity only (video conference or telephone). All in-person office hours are canceled until further notice.
3. Our administrative staff are working remotely, but our office line will continue to be monitored during regular business hours. You can contact us at 501-671-2390 or at ptac@uaex.edu .
Please understand that our desire is to support you and your business without interruption, but we will have to minimize risk of spreading COVID-19 by reducing travel, large groups and physical contact until this challenge passes over.
Reach out to your assigned Procurement Counselor or reply to this email with any questions. Contact information for staff may be found at https://www.uaex.edu/business-communities/arkansas-ptac/staff.aspx .
