Science Enrichment Education for Kids

A program of the 4-H Arkansas Outdoor School geared toward science education for home-schooled students in 1st-12th grades located at the Arkansas 4-H Center.

The Science Enrichment Education for Kids program, or "SEEK,"  was established in 1999 to help meet the science needs of home-schooled children. The program's mission is to provide experiential learning, through hands-on science lessons, in a fun and safe indoor/outdoor classroom environment.

Basic SEEK Information

  • Semester runs from early December through early March.
  • For students 1st grade-12th grade
  • One day per week for 12 weeks
  • Four days of programming (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday)
  • SEEK day runs from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • Takes place at the Arkansas 4-H Center

Award Winning Program

  • Two time recipient of the Program of Distinction award from the National 4-H Headquarters and the Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service (CSREES).
  • MetLife Foundation Award of Excellence

Located at the Arkansas 4-H Center

Other 4-H Center Programs:



Our ExCEL program offers experiential team building programs ranging from a few hours to a few days.
Programs are customized for your group's specific needs. We offer ground based team building initiatives, low ropes course elements, outdoor climbing tower and giants ladder with team belay, static high ropes course with 23 elements including a 300ft zip line. Onsite and offsite programs.

Arkansas Outdoor School

Come to the Arkansas Outdoor School – a day of learning your students will never forget!  We offer experiential learning in a natural setting.

AOS can build the right program for your group or class, whether it’s a day, overnight or a multi-day visit.  We create a unique opportunity for students to learn in a setting away from the traditional classroom.

Day Camp

The Arkansas Outdoor School is proud to offer the AOS Summer Day Camp for 7-15 year olds.  Each day camp session has be tailored to give campers a chance to get out and explore, discover and learn about the world around them and have fun in the process. All camp activities place an emphasis on team work, self esteem, communication and cooperation.

4-H Overnight Camps

The Arkansas 4-H Camping Program offers camping and training opportunities for youth 5-19 years old and adults. Our overnight camps take place at the  C. A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Center  10 miles west of Little Rock.  Canoeing, swimming, archery, fishing, rock wall climbing, high ropes challenge course, and off-site backpacking/canoeing adventures are just some of the exciting possibilities.
