Arkansas 4-H Military Partnership

4-H Military Partnerships create opportunities and provide support to military connected youth whether they live on or near an installation, in our communities, or on overseas installations. Through hands-on learning, kids build life skills such as leadership and resiliency to help them thrive today and tomorrow. As military families move frequently and experience the difficulties surrounding deployment and reintegration, 4-H provides a place to belong for military connected children and youth.

Multiple branches of the United States Military partner with 4-H to provide opportunities for children of both active duty and reserve members from all branches of service. 4-H programs across the state welcome children of military personnel, regardless of where they live. To find an existing 4-H Club or to become a 4-H Volunteer, contact your county extension office or your Arkansas 4-H Military Liaison at 501-671-2352.

The Arkansas 4-H Military Partnership Program is funded with a grant from Kansas State University. Two Arkansas Active duty installations, the Little Rock Air Force Base and the Pine Bluff Arsenal, have 4-H Club programming in their Youth Centers.
