2006-2007 MEETING SCHEDULE

Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month at 11:00 am, and are held in the Woodard Hall Conference Room. Typically, meetings will include a business meeting, speaker, and lunch.

Thursday, August 31^th 

            Dr. Steve Lochmann will be speaking on “What the American Fisheries Society can mean to your professional development”

Thursday, September 28^th   

            Mr. Berry Beavers will speak about “Life in the AGFC Hatchery System”

Thursday, October 19^th

Mr. John Oliver from John’s Marin Repair in Pine Bluff, will hold a seminar on “Boat Maintenance” following the regular business meeting and lunch

Thursday, November 16^th

            Mr. Mark Oliver will speak about “The role of the AGFC Fisheries Division”

Thursday, November 30^th (Christmas Party)

            Following the business meeting and lunch, we will exchange “Secret Santa” gifts

Thursday, January 25^th 2007

            Dr. Mike Eggleton will be speaking about the “Benefits of AFS Professional Certification” and we will have member “practice presentations”

Thursday, February 22^nd

Thursday, March 15^th

Field study Tour of AGFC Joe Hogan Fish Hatchery in Lonoke AR, regular business meeting will be included, more details to come.
