About Us
County Impact Statements - Searcy County

Your Searcy County Cooperative Extension Service continues to focus on the long-range goals established by the County Extension Council and the members of our program committees. These goals are updated annually with programs designed to address critical needs.

Did you know that agriculture is the biggest industry in Searcy County? Your Cooperative Extension Service provides research based information to producers and farm families to enhance the profitability of livestock, dairy and timber commodities. Numerous other agricultural services are available. Families benefit financially from programs available through the Family Consumer Sciences and 4-H programs. Approximately 590 youth are enrolled in 4-H.

The county Extension program involves people in many ways: as program participants, volunteer leaders, committee members, resource people, financial supporters and advocates. We encourage you to become familiar with our programs and become involved. We welcome your comments and suggestions in order to plan programs that will meet the needs of our county. Please feel free to visit your county Extension office to see how we can work together for a better county program.

It is with pleasure that we submit to you our program accomplishments for the year and plans for upcoming programs.
