Learning Corel Presentations 8.0

Objectives of the Course

Learning Corel Presentations 8.0 is designed to introduce you to the basic operation and functions of Presentations 8.0 for Windows 95. The lessons include practice exercises to work through as well as examples for creating documents in your work.

Lesson 1 introduces the fundamentals of using Presentations. It covers applying gallery backgrounds, entering text in the Outline mode, selecting templates, saving, viewing a slide set, and using PerfectExpert.

Lesson 2 addresses editing text, adding, moving and deleting slides, adding clip art and lecture notes, and creating data charts.

Lesson 3 explores printing options; adding text annotations; changing features like color, text size, and object placement; making changes to the background layers; applying a logo to all slides, and using transitions in slide shows.

Lesson 4 covers text transfer between WordPerfect and Presentations, creating a stand-alone slide show, and publishing a slide show for use on the World Wide Web. It also includes tips for creating better presentations
