Polk County Master Gardeners Accomplishments
Polk County Fair
Each year, Polk County Master Gardeners sponsors a booth in the Polk County
Fair.
In 2001, with Carol Williamson as chairman, we sponsored the Horticulture
(flowering) Exhibits and gave cash prizes and ribbons for Best in Category, Best
in Division and Best in Show, in addition to the awards given by the fair.
The 2002 chairman will be Billy Wood. More details will be added later as
things develop.
