Arkansas 4-H to hold state volunteer leaders forum
LITTLE ROCK - Hundreds of 4-H volunteers from across the state will come
together to share ideas for their local 4-H programs during the Arkansas 4-H
Volunteer Forum November 9-10 at the C.A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Center.
The forum, supported by Monsanto and the National 4-H Council, will bring 4-H
volunteers together to network and learn about innovative programs. This
networking will provide volunteers with fresh perspectives and activities they
can then use in their local 4-H programs.
"This forum is always a great opportunity for leaders from all over the state
to share what’s working in their programs and get ideas they can take back,"
said Mike Klumpp, associate professor of 4-H youth development for the
University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service.
Training during the two days will USE team-building activities and
problem-solving initiatives that leaders can use with their 4-H’ers.

celebration, contact your county extension agent or visit

development arm of the U of A Cooperative Extension Service, which is part of
the U of A Division of Agriculture.
