SponsorshipsThe little time it takes to say thank you means, the opportunity may be there tomorrow! If we don’t say thank you, why should you help us next time? Your contributions have helped us gain vital leadership skills for the world today. With declining federal, state and local monies, sponsorships are becoming a big part of Extension’s annual budget. The new $687,000 greenhouse facility is an excellent example of the impact private-source fund development can enhance Extension’s programs. Through teamwork, Extension specialists persuaded various industry sources to invest in the greenhouse. Donors included Monsanto, BASF, DOW, RiceCo, Bayer, FMC, Cheminova and Arkansas Pest Control. Monsanto saw almost immediate results in the work already being conducted. Extension retirees, companies and individuals sponsor the 4-H record-book winner’s trips to the 4-H National Congress in November each year. On the county level, the list is endless ranging from 4-H award banquets, wellness clinics to field trials. Thank you again for making amazing educational life-changing and far reaching experiences possible.
