Donor Recognition

Extension recognizes its supporters in many ways. It could be its Legacy Society, 4-H O’Rama awards banquet, a telephone call, a quick note or visit.

The biggest “thank you” for most of these contributors and supporters is

• A former county 4-H’er stopping you on the street and thanking you for making a “difference” in their life.
  
• Families and youth utilizing a community park that you helped plan, fund and build.
• The county paper advertises for workers for new industry in your county.
• Your family is healthier. You have more energy after taking part in one of the many Extension health related classes

The organization’s agents and specialists reach out every day throughout the state helping people with their needs and concerns. These accomplishments would not be possible without the continued support of Extension donors.

Many of these people continue to provide “hands-on” in addition to financial support. They fill involved and a part of their communities. Donor recognition is about lifetime partnerships.
