Purpose The purpose of 4-H is the equal training of the head, heart, hands, and health.

Emblem A 4-leaf clover with the letter "H" on each leaf.

What do the four H's represent?
The equal training of the head, heart, hands and health.
For what is the head trained?
To think, to plan and to reason.
For what is the heart trained?
To be kind, true and sympathetic.
For what are the hands trained?
To be useful, helpful and skillful.
For what is the health trained?
To resist disease, enjoy life and make for efficiency.

Pledge I pledge my head to clearer thinking,
My heart to greater loyalty,
My hands to larger service, and
My health to better living for my club,
My community, My country and My world.

Motto To make the best better.
