FTP Large Files

Use FTP instead of attaching large files to e-mail messages. Here is How To:

1. Open Windows Explorer and locate the folder where you saved the files

2. Highlight files (hold down the Shift or Ctrl button and click on the files) and Copy (Edit, Copy)

3. Open Internet Explorer and go to ftp://ftp.uaex.edu/

4. Go to menu bar at the top and choose View, then Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer.

5. After the window opens, go to the menu bar at the top and choose File, then Login As

6. Enter your Intranet ID and Password and select Logon

7. Double click on the Uploads folder

8. Select from the menu bar Edit, then Paste

9. Don't forget, the files you upload will be purged after 90 days.
