Welcome to the Office of Affirmative Action.

It is the policy of the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture to provide equal employment opportunities and to offer all programs to eligible participants without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, national origin, disability, marital or veteran status, or any other legally protected status.

The Division of Agriculture also commits itself to a policy of affirmative action with respect to both employment opportunities and program participants. We strive to create work and educational environments that are as inclusive as possible. The division complies with these policies not merely because of legal requirements, but because we believe that such practices are basic to human dignity.

The Office of Affirmative Action is committed to ensure that the Division continues its efforts to carryout these policies of non-discrimination and affirmative action.  In doing such, the Office of Affirmative Action aides the Division in its efforts to be an inclusive organization that welcomes diversity, so that the organization is representative of all the residents of Arkansas and conducts quality programs that reach all of the residents of Arkansas.
