Who We Are
Rich Poling, Associate Professor
Dr.
Rich Poling joined the Extension Program and Staff Development Department in
2002. In this position, Rich provides training for Extension faculty in the
areas of planning, delivering and evaluating educational programs. He also
conducts training programs in the areas of group facilitation skills,
organizational planning, and professional development for Extension personnel.
Rich provides leadership for the Division of Agriculture’s integrated NIFA
plan of work process, the Extension Service Professional Development System, the
Extension Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Program. He is also a member of the
eXtension Financial Security for All Community of Practice and the MiTTNet
National Initiative Leadership Team. Rich began his Extension career in 1976 as
a county Extension agent in Ohio. He has also served as an Extension state
faculty member at Clemson University and the University of Tennessee prior to
coming to Arkansas.
