Who We Are

Alyne Hoover, In-Service Training Manager

Picture of Alyne Hoover Alyne, who joined the Program and Staff Development Department in October 2009, manages and administrates learn.uaex.edu. Learn.uaex.edu is a combination of Moodle course management software combined with the ELIS software package, which expands Moodle's functionality. In addition to her responsibilities with the learn.uaex.edu site, she also handles proposals, enrollment, and budgets for all CES in-service training classes.

Alyne's background is in television and radio engineering, promotions, advertising, and management. She spent 12 years working with ABC, Fox, WB, UPN, Univision, and Telemundo affiliates across the country. She also worked for the RTN Network, its owned and operated stations, as well as working with its affiliates across the country. She has a bachelor's degree from Harding University in Searcy, AR.
