Vision

The Program and Staff Development Section will be a valued, top-notch support section for the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service.

• PSD will provide a multi-tiered system of program improvement and accountability through training and evaluation services.
• All Extension employees will be trained to a high level of competence and will follow well-developed, well-defined career paths.
• PSD will use relevant cutting edge technology to deliver responsive, timely and accessible training statewide.
• PSD will serve both internal and external customers effectively and efficiently.
• A broad spectrum of marketable training products will be developed and delivered to outside organizations on a fee for services basis.
• PSD will provide a high level of leadership development for both faculty and clientele.  As a result the participants will make positive impacts on their educational programs and/or communities.
