Programs - FSLL Initiative Evaluation

Financial Security in Later LifeFSLL Initiative Evaluation and Accountability
Evaluation of Programs and Activities for Educators

As stated in the Financial Security in Later Life National Initiative five-year plan, the objective of the Initiative is two-pronged.

Initial efforts will “...enhance the capacity of the Land-Grant University and Cooperative Extension System to develop, market, implement and evaluate effective, research-based, financial management programs focused on later life issues.”

Individuals completing Initiative-based programs will become “...financially literate and equipped with the knowledge, attitudes, skills and confidence to practice effective and successful financial management strategies that insure financial security in later life...”

This section of the Financial Security in Later Life Website is designed to:

• Collect information on the impact of the Initiative in building the capacity of educators to deliver effective programs,

• Collect information on the impact of Initiative-based programs on participants,

• Provide evaluation ideas/assistance/tools for educators to collect evaluation information about the impact of Initiative-based educational programs,

• Provide summaries of Initiative progress over the 5-year plan.

FSLL Evaluation and Accountability Links

FSLL Eval Tools and Ideas - Participant Changes - This section provides ideas about how to measure outcomes of FSLL programs and sample evaluation instruments that can be used.

FSLL DB Translation Maps - Many FSLL-related programs come with their own evaluation instruments that collect measures matching the specific objectives of those programs.  The translation maps will be helpful in determining where the evaluation results from those programs should be reported in the FSLL Initiative on-line database.

FSLL Reports (CSREES) - This link will take you to a page that contains the latest FSLL impact reports and other information that can be used in marketing the FSLL National Initiative.

FSLL Eval Database - The FSLL Evaluation and Accountability Database is where evaluation results from FSLL-related programs can be reported on-line.  The database is password protected.  FSLL Initiative contacts in each state have determined who will have access to enter data into the database in their states.  For more information, contact the FSLL Initiative contact in your state.  To find out who is(are) the contact(s) for your state, go to the FSLL "Tools for Educators" page, select the "Background" link and then select the "FSLL Initiative Contacts" link.

FSLL Tools for Educators (CSREES) - This link takes you back to the FSLL Tools for Educator page that contains a number of resources available to educators, including the FSLL Program Toolkit that contains the core programs that support the FSLL Initiative.

Top - The Top button in the lower right corner of the screen will take you back to the top of the page you are on.
