FSLL Initiative Evaluation and Accountability
Evaluation of Programs and Activities for
Educators
As stated in the Financial Security in Later Life National Initiative
five-year plan, the objective of the Initiative is two-pronged.
Initial efforts will “...enhance the capacity
of the Land-Grant University and Cooperative Extension System to
develop, market, implement and evaluate effective, research-based,
financial management programs focused on later life issues.”
Individuals completing Initiative-based programs
will become “...financially literate and equipped with the knowledge,
attitudes, skills and confidence to practice effective and successful
financial management strategies that insure financial security in later
life...”
This section of the Financial Security in Later Life Website is designed to:
• Collect information on the impact of the Initiative in building the
capacity of educators to deliver effective programs,
• Collect information on the impact of Initiative-based programs on
participants,
• Provide evaluation ideas/assistance/tools for educators to collect
evaluation information about the impact of Initiative-based educational
programs,
• Provide summaries of Initiative progress over the 5-year plan.
