Planning Better Meetings
Learning to Listen
Practically everyone can benefit from improved listening skills, both in their
personal and professional lives. This hands on workshop will help you
identify and practice effective listening behaviors, as well as learn
behaviors in which you may be engaging in that lead to a breakdown in
listening. This workshop can be customized to fit the needs of your
group.
New Employee Orientation
Program Evaluation:
Practical Strategies for Program Improvement
True Colors
Understanding people is a critical need to work as an Extension professional.
This training will teach you about our personality traits and help you to
understand others as well. This knowledge will help you to delegate
responsibility more effectively to others and reduce conflict in your
professional and personal life. This workshop can be customized to fit
the needs of your group.
Leadership Development Programs:
Financial Security in Later Life National Initiative:
Financial Security in Later Life (FSLL) is a national Extension
initiative with the goal of enhancing the capacity of the Land-Grant
University and Cooperative Extension System to develop, market, implement,
and evaluate effective, research-based, financial management programs
focused on later life issues. These efforts will lead to a citizenry who is
financially literate and equipped with the knowledge, attitudes, skills, and
confidence to practice effective and successful financial management
strategies that insure financial security in later life, for example
retirement and life planning. Dr. Rich Poling, Arkansas Extension Program
Development Specialist, is a member of the FSLL National Initiative
Management Team, providing leadership in evaluation and accountability
efforts for the Initiative.
