Programs - Faculty Leadership Program
How to Apply
The application period for
the Faculty Leadership Program begins August 1, 2006 and ends September 15,
2006. After the application deadline, the selection process begins.
There are three steps to
apply for the Faculty Leadership Program:
1. The Application
Form
The application is found online at
http://forms.uaex.edu/Forms/FLP/flp.htm. To begin the application,
enter your e-mail address and department. This is your
Access Key.
Once you begin the application,
you may save your work and exit the program at any time. To access your
application again, simply enter your Access Key. You make changes and additions
to your application until you click the submit button. The application
must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. September 15, 2006.
2. The Supervisor
Commitment Form
In
order for you to be eligible for the program, your immediate supervisor must
give his or her approval for your participation. Once you submit your
application, your supervisor will receive an e-mail containing a link to your
application and the Supervisor Commitment Form. When your supervisor submits
the Commitment Form, he or she approves your candidacy and potential
participation in the program. Final approval for participation in the program
rests with the Associate Vice President for Agriculture – Extension.
3. The interview – Interviews will be conducted in the Delta, Ouachita, and Ozark
Districts, as well as in the State Office. You will be contacted about
interview dates after September 15, 2006. You may interview in another
district if you have a conflict with the interview date in your district.
Those selected for the Faculty Leadership Program will be announced in
December.
