University of Arkansas Retirement Plans

To provide retirement benefits for you, the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service will contribute to one of the following retirement plans: the Optional Retirement Plan (ORP) or the Arkansas Public Employees Retirement System (APERS).  You must select one of these plans within 31 days of your date of hire.

Because the U of A Cooperative Extension Service makes a contribution for each employee, you must tell us where to invest your Extension contribution. Therefore, even if you do not make a personal contribution to your retirement plan, you must complete the following forms:
