Voluntary Benefits
The University of Arkansas offers several voluntary products at group rates
to all benefits-eligible employees. These products are:
Long-Term Care insurance
through Continental Casualty Company (CNA)
-Must enroll within first 60 days of employment.
Group
Auto/Homeowners insurance through Liberty Mutual - May enroll at
anytime.
Critical Illness Insurance through MetLife – Must enroll within
first 60 days of employment.
Vision Insurance through Spectera - May only be obtained through
yearly enrollment sessions held each December.
Because Long-Term Care, Group Auto/Homeowners, Critical Illness, and
Vision insurance are voluntary products, all questions regarding these products
should be answered directly by CNA, Liberty Mutual, MetLife or Spectera
company representatives. Enrollment kits for Long-Term Care, Group
Auto/Homeowners, and Critical Illness insurance should be requested directly
from CNA, Liberty Mutual, and MetLife. CNA, Liberty Mutual, MetLife and Spectera
will provide our office with your authorized payroll deduction to be withheld
from your paycheck.
