University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service Homepage
The U A C E S homepage will welcome visitors and serve as a direction-finder, as well as a focal point of contact to and from other related Web sites. It is intended to provide information that addresses our constituents and their needs and interests. All county offices will have an area to represent their counties. All departments will have web sites for information specific to their area that do not fall into one of the 6 U A C E S webs. Such Web sites must meet U A C E S standards of design and organization.
Support of Web-enabled Mission
The University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service (U A C E S) recognizes the value and potential of Web- enabled technology as a tool to support its mission of teaching, research, and service. Therefore, all units are encouraged to take full advantage of the technology available to assist the university in accomplishing that mission.
U A C E S shall develop and maintain a comprehensive Web presence. This presence will be represented by the U A C E S web site at
http://www.uaex.edu and 6 related webs that represent the various areas of extension. U A C E S faculty and staff should promote http://www.uaex.edu and this web address should be included in publications, on letterhead and in any publicly distributed material.
