Our mission is to provide research-based information through non-formal education to help all Arkansans improve their economic well-being and the quality of their lives. Agriculture is a very diverse and important part of Conway County's economy with production including home gardens, beef and forage, poultry, commercial production of corn, soybeans, rice, and wheat and forestry. For more information about the services and educational programs that are offered by the Conway County Extension office to support producers, contact the Agriculture Extension Agent.

Family and Consumer Sciences
Strong, healthy families are the foundation of Arkansas Communities. Helping Arkansans enhance their quality of life through education is our goal. The Conway County Extension Service is dedicated to meeting the community education needs of over 21,000 residents. Conway County offers a variety of programs: Small Steps to Health & Wealth, Extension GetFit, Walk Across Arkansas, Best Care, Guiding Children Successfully, Acknowledging Aging, Cook Smart Eat Smart, and more! Conway County has a very active Extension Homemaker Club program made up of 5 separate clubs throughout the county.
FCS program priority areas include:

- Marriage, parenting, and family life
- Family and consumer economics
- Nutrition, food safety, and food preservation

4-H Youth Development Programs
4-H has eleven clubs in our county. Conway County 4-H focuses on science, technology, engineering, and math programs throughout the year. Members take part in numerous project areas ranging from wildlife to clothing to rockets. 4-H members compete on the county, district, and state levels each year.
Conway County 4-H had the 2014 state winning Poultry Judging team, and the 2014 state winning Innovative Technology winner. Numerous school enrichment programs are conducted throughout the school year to educate students on agriculture, healthy food choices, and kid-friendly exercise events.
