Strategic Planning

Communities and regions face great challenges as well as opportunities. Their viability depends on their ability to understand the forces impacting them and utilize their assets to become vibrant, sustainable and resilient. To support communities and regions in the development process, the UA Community & Economic Development offers assistance to Arkansas community and regional leaders through the following programs:

  • Breakthrough Solutions – creating vibrant, sustainable and resilient communities and regions,
  • Stronger Economies Together – developing & implementing an economic development blueprint for a multi-county region, and
  • Programs developed with local leaders to address specific community and regional needs.

In addition, publications are available and developed upon request to assist leaders understand the social, economic and demographic trends that are affecting their communities.
