Oversee the egg take, hatch and growth of brook, brown and rainbow trout at a remote

spring-fed, trout hatchery in the Catskill mountains. The facility produces fish for

stocking and for food fish in NY City and vicinity restaurants. Base salary is

24,000. Perks are housing and quality of life in the foothills of the Catskill mountains.

Hands-on experience and an education from a quality school open doors. The rest is sheer leg-work and the willingness to relocate. Fish hatchery work is physically and mentally demanding and requires a commitment to quality of product. A strong background in agriculture is highly recommended.
