Mike Freeze

I am a private "fish farmer" or fish culturist. My employer is Keo Fish Farm, Inc. of which I am one of two owners. I raise and sell hybrid striped bass and sterile triploid grass carp plus several other species of fish to customers throughout the United States and to foreign countries.

My education consists of a BS in Fisheries and Wildlife Management from Arkansas Tech University and a M. S from Murray State University.

My salary is in excess of $100,000.00 per year.

I was employed as a fisheries biologist by the Arkansas Game & Fish Commision for five years before entering the private sector as an aquaculturist (fish farmer) in 1983. I and two friends started our own fish farm in 1983 and it has grown every year. Currently, I am one of seven Game & Fish Commissioners for Arkansas. Each Commissioner is appointed to a seven year term by our Governor.
