Job Description:
Supervise a research Ecologist and support staff and conducts fishery research and fish monitoring activites on Lake Erie. Primary acitvities on Lake Erie are monitoring of young-of-the-year productiuon and recruitment of major speices in western Lake Erie, monitor rehabilatation of lake trout in eastern Lake Erie, conduct research on impacts from invasive species (such as zebra mussels, round gobys, and double-crested cormorants) on native species and their habitat, study predator-prey relationships, and study differences in near shore habitat areas as selected by fish.
Prerequisite Education/Experience (work history):
Univ. of Wisconsin-La Crosse- B.S. & M.S. in Biology (Aquatic Biology) I have been employed at the Lake Erie Biological Station for more than 22 years.
