| Just like the title implies, there are jobs that are "clean" and jobs that require you to "get in and get wet." All of these jobs are challenging, rewarding, and fun! |
| You answer a few simple questions and we'll show you a list of possible career opportunities in the field of Fisheries and Aquaculture. Click on a career or job title for information about that choice. In most cases, you'll meet a fisheries professional with that job. |
| You'll see what sort of education and work experiences led this
fisheries professional to their current position. You may even want to contact them to
discuss what you can do NOW to prepare for a career in the field of Aquaculture and
Fisheries.

White Coats and Waders was funded through a USDA1890 Institution Teaching and Research
Capacity Building Grant awarded to the Aquaculture
and Fisheries Center at the University of Arkansas at
Pine Bluff. It was created by Mike Carlson
and Steve Lochmann. Fisheries professionals may
not always agree with our ideas about which jobs best suit the responses to our questions
and the job list is not exhaustive. We also realize that a job title does not always
adequately reflect one's duties. If you would like to comment on any aspect of White Coats
and Waders, we welcome your input. Most importantly, we want to thank the fisheries
professionals who took the time to respond to our requests for information. Their
responses are what make White Coats and Waders so interesting and unique. Last updated
