Water Quality

Water quality was monitored weekly with a Hach aquaculture field test kit and results are presented in Tables 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. Unexpectedly, the results of the alkalinity and hardness tests changed through time. Changed in those parameters through time may be the result of variable sampling and handling method. None of the measured water quality parameters reached dangerous levels throughout the production period. Total ammonia nitrogen never reached level higher than 3 ppm (Figure 10).
