Andrew Goodwin, Ph.D.

| Dr. Goodwin is interested in all aspects of fish pathology
and has published scientific papers in the areas of fish parasitology,
virology, bacteriology, nutrition, neoplasia, toxicology, pharmacology,
reproduction, and inflammation. He oversees the UAPB Fish Disease
Diagnostic Laboratories that together are one of the busiest programs in
the country. He is an American Fisheries Society certified Fish
Pathologist and Fish Health Inspector and also is active in the Fish
Health Section where he has recently been working with other scientists on
new digital version of the FHS Blue Book including a comprehensive new
inspection manual. He and his students attend and give presentations at
regional, national, and international meetings.
