Hello Fellow Co-workers and Friends!
On behalf of the Arkansas County Agriculture Agent’s Association, I want to “Welcome” you to our website. I am honored to serve as your 2009 ACAAA President.
There is a lot of information on our website and I encourage you to check it out, see what our association is about and what it has to offer.
The strength of your association depends on your involvement and we need everyone so we can be the best we can be.
I want to personally invite all of our members to the ACAAA State meeting to be held in Mountain Home on March 26-27, 2009.
The headquarter hotel will be Ramada Inn in Mountain Home, phone 870-425-9191, www.ramadainnmtnhome.com.
The room rate will be $65 plus tax – this will be for a double or queen bed. They have reserved 25 rooms for us. When calling to make your reservations ask for the block of rooms reserved under Arkansas County Agents.
Please make your reservations as soon as you can. If we need more rooms we should be able to get a few more.
It’s not too early to start soliciting items for our silent auction at the state meeting. I want to challenge every agent to bring at least one item for the auction this year. As you know, the money raised goes to our scholarship fund, so let’s have a great auction in Mountain Home.

The National County Agriculture Agent’s Association Annual meeting will be held in Portland, Oregon September 20-24, 2009. The annual meeting is always outstanding and offers educational seminars, workshops, tours, youth activities, events for Life Members and spouses and great fellowship with fellow county agents from all over the United States. I hope that you will consider attending and participating in this meeting.
