About Us
County Impact Statements - White County
For more than nine decades, the White County Cooperative Extension Service has
been putting knowledge to work for White County citizens. Included are a few
success stories based on accomplishments of this last year. These stories are
representative of the work accomplished, but the total impact of our Extension
programs is not limited to those successes included.
The total White County Extension program encompasses programs designed to
meet the needs of all of White County’s citizens – from farmers in the field, to
kids in classrooms, and to families in need. Thousands of White County families
have learned skills that save money, save time, and enrich the quality of their
lives.
Local volunteers help identify and design programs tailored specifically for
White County. The individuals listed on this page are members of the County
Extension Council. It is their task to identify issues most needed in our
communities, whether agriculture and community development, family and consumers
sciences, or 4-H and youth. Together with the support of the White County Quorum
Court, we are proud to present these results.
