4-H--Going Strong!!!

"The Stone County 4-H is one of the best youth educational programs in Stone County", according to Trena Martin, Ben 4-H Leader.

Growing up has never been easy and don’t expect it to get any easier. 4-H provides a compass to help navigate youth through life by providing educational programs in community 4-H clubs, school and at home.

Stone County youth have participants in educational activities such as Glogerm, Enviroscape, Healthy Diet/Healthy Eating, Wagon Master and many other activities in our local schools.

Stone County 4-H youth also participated in a 2-day Campout, Livestock Clinics, Gardening activities, Broiler BBQ Contest, County Government/Citizenship, 4-H State Camps, Public Speaking, Forestry Workshop, Photography, 4-H O-Rama and Recordbook activities.

Volunteers are essential to the successful delivery of 4-H programs to youth.
