Searcy County
4-H Youth Development

"4-H is not your ordinary youth organization it makes you realize a lot of things you never did before. In my past eight years of 4-H I have started to use my HEAD for things other than school work, I have opened my HEART up to become a leader for others rather than being shy, I have learned I can use my HANDS in a lot of community service, and I have also learned that your better HEALTH can also help not only you but others as well."

- Neda Tilley
Searcy County 4-H Council President

What is 4-H?

Does camping sound like fun? How about barbecuing, fishing, bicycling, horseback riding, photography, shooting sports and livestock projects only to name a few.  Also, learn fun things like pet care, cooking, babysitting skills and woodworking.

Searcy County youth also participate in State 4-H Camp, Citizenship Washington Focus, Kansas City Global Conference, Shooting Sports Competitions, and District and State Livestock Shows.

You can also volunteer to take part in community service projects to help other people, like the American Cancer Society - Relay for Life.
