Great Arkansas Clean-up

EHC volunteers provided and served breakfast to the 150 participants prior to the clean-up. T-shirts, gloves, and vests were provided by Tyson Foods in cooperation with other corporate sponsors.

A hot lunch was provided for participants compliments of local merchants. Scott County Extension Agent, Donne Shrout served as food chairperson and coordinated the donation of food and coordinated the preparations for the meal.

Local community volunteers assisted with serving food and clean-up at this event.

"It was a wonderful event. We have really good community spirit, everyone pulled together and did a great job!" - Betty Zemlo, EHC Volunteer

" The citizens of Scott County dedicated their time and money to this worth while community service project. Their sincere dedication was the driving force which helped to make this year’s event such a great success. Volunteers and the community both benefit from the Great Arkansas Clean-up this is just another reason Tyson Foods is a proud sponsor of this yearly event. " -Joseph Diaz, Tyson Foods, Complex Personnel Manager
