County Impact Statements - Pulaski County
Information...The most important tool in the landscape.
Information really is the most powerful tool we can use in the landscape.
With gardening as Americans #1 pastime, more money is being spent on and more
pesticides are being applied to landscapes, lawns and gardens.
Master Gardeners provide non-biased information to Pulaski County residents,
giving them a powerful tool to help them become informed consumers, safe
pesticide applicators and successful gardeners whether it is just one tomato
plant in a pot or a large lawn and landscape.
Information is also important to the nurseryman and landscape maintenance
professionals. The Pulaski County Extension Service provides the latest
research-based information to help these professionals solve insect, disease and
weed control problems. Training is a tool that keeps these professionals up to
date and helps them provide the best information, products and services possible
to their customers.

Master Gardener Volunteers Tom Mertens and Marilyn Tilley answer
