Polk County Master Gardeners Accomplishments
Polk County Extension Office
The project at the Polk County Extension Office included replanting and
maintenance of the raised sign bed, a general clean-up, stump removal around the
building, and replanting all the beds around the building.
It was later extended to include four demonstration plantings of lawn
grasses.

Polk County Extension Office Before Project
The Extension Office project is an ongoing project of Polk County Master
Gardeners. Beds will be maintained and plants added and removed as needed. The
initial project was estimated at approximately 100 hours of Master Gardener
work; ongoing maintenance will take between 60 and 70 hours annually.
