About Us
County Impact Statements - Lawrence County
Each year, we have developed educational programs to address the major issues
and concerns identified by local clientele.
Annually, the County Extension Council and county Extension staff have
reviewed our accomplishments and, if needed, made revisions to the plan to
address new challenges. It is our hope that these programs and services have
resulted in improved economic opportunities and quality of life for our county
residents.
The county Extension program involves people in many ways: as program
participants, volunteer leaders, committee members, resource people, financial
supporters and advocates. We encourage you to become familiar with our programs
and become involved. We welcome your comments and suggestions in order to plan
programs that will meet the needs of our county. Please feel free to visit our
