Crittenden County
Master Gardeners Project Spotlight
Crittenden County Office Building
The Crittenden County Master Gardeners have finished their first sanctioned
project for the year. The work was done in front of the Crittenden County
Office Building located next to the Court House in Marion. Judge Melton
Holt gave permission and $100 to start the project.
Twelve volunteers worked eighteen hours each and donated most of the plants.
The Club donated over $2200 in time and materials to the county for this
project. The work does not stop there; the project will be maintained by
the Master Gardeners.
Currently two other projects are being considered by the club and are waiting
on approval. In order for the Master Gardeners to take on a project, there
has to be money and water available.
