County Impact Statements - Clark County
Master Gardeners Work Wonders!

With gardening as America’s #1 Pastime, people are spending more time and money on this activity. Consumers need non-biased information to help them make sound decisions about their gardening activities.

The Extension Service provides this information to Clark County residents, which is used to decide what type of products to use for the different aspects of gardening and landscaping.

Through our local newspapers, radio stations, public meetings and personal contacts, the Clark County Extension Service provides the latest research based information to help county residents.

The Clark County Master Gardeners have done an outstanding job this past year especially through their landscaping project for the Clark County Courthouse. The Master Gardeners, along with other volunteers, donated over 1500 hours of Community Service working on this project.
