The overall goal of the Chen Lab is to maintain a healthy aquatic environment for aquatic living resources. We are interested in sustainable human development and clean physical, chemical, and biological environment. For example, we are interested in water quality and fish growth within cultural systems. We are also interested in effects of human related activities (e.g., aquaculture, croplands and animal production, and urbanization) and climate change on natural aquatic ecosystems.
