Proposed Constitutional Amendment No. 1

Proposed Constitutional Amendment No.1 would remove archaic and obsolete language from the Arkansas constitution. This measure also gives the General Assembly the power to alter the qualifications for poll workers.

Proposed Constitutional Amendment No. 2

Are you an informed voter?

Your Cooperative Extension Service wants you know the ballot issues facing Arkansas voters this November.

Proposed Constitutional Amendment No. 2 concerns requiring the Arkansas General Assembly to meet every year rather than the current schedule of every other year. Under this proposal, the General Assembly would begin meeting for 30 day fiscal session on even numbered years beginning 2010.

Proposed Constitutional Amendment No. 3

Proposed Constitutional Amendment No. 3 authorizes the General Assembly to establish, operate, and regulate state lotteries to fund scholarships and grants for Arkansas citizens enrolled in certified two-year and four year colleges and universities in Arkansas.

Proposed Initiative Act No. 1

Are you an informed voter?

Your Cooperative Extension Service wants you know the ballot issues facing Arkansas voters this November.

Proposed Initiative Act No. 1 is a citizen-initiated measure which would make it illegal for any individual cohabitating with another individual outside of a valid marriage to adopt or provide foster care to minors.

Referred Question No. 1
