Weighing and Measuring

[Chao and others empty fish from a trapnet into buckets and begin to start measuring.]

Chao: We do this not just for fun. You know, we pick up the fish to sample and want to get what the weight and measurments and all of the good stuff. So, what I am going to do is that I'll take the measurement and let her know *points to student* and he'll take the weight *motions to another student* for all the fish and then we will go back and look at the data and see what we have.

Chao: Everytime we take fish out for any sampling, we always put them back.

[Chao then empties the buckets of water and fish back into the river.]
